"If and Only If" returns for the Hand Eye Society's SUPER FESTIVAL in October 2022!

First presented at Narrascope 2022 on July 31st! This talk explores how developers and players alike can interpret conditional logic in interactive fiction. The topic will be examined from multiple lenses, including: technical application, the relevance to narrative design in particular, and player perception. Conditionals can range from extremely straightforward to extremely complex. Not all games require complex — or any — logic in order to be impactful, fun, or challenging.

Unmaking, Unmade was featured at the 7th annual Wordplay Festival, hosted by the Hand Eye Society, on November 9th & 10th 2019!

Unmaking, Unmade is a horror-themed interactive fiction piece about intoxicating love. It was published in sub-q magazine in February 2018. "Manipulate an eerie videotape and confront a dangerous infatuation by rewinding, fast-forwarding, and pausing the tape to alter its contents and reshape the fate of your love."

Sôphrosunê is a mostly-textless visual experience about interacting conscientiously with the past. Touching nothing, silently view and explore a time-ravaged archaeological site and its ancient counterpart as if each were frozen in time. Sôphrosunê was made for the Archaeology Bitsy Jam in April 2018
